Measurements

Measurements are all displyed as Width x Depth x Height in centimetres Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy, but a tolerance of approximately 1.5 cm is accepted as normal. Internal dimensions of items need to be checked, taking into account the thickness of the wood to be approximately 2 cm, to ensure that TV's and Computers will fit.

Fabrics

All our fabrics are 100% cotton.

Upholstery

All our items are supplied with an inter liner (fire retardant.)

Beds / Cots

All dimensions are internal measurements, (mattress sizes) and height is measured from the floor to the highest point. Bed frame prices are inclusive of bed slats, but exclude mattresses. Bed Headboards centre panels can be either plain panel, upholstered or in cane, in one of our fabrics or in your own fabric. Upholstery prices are exclusive of fabric.

Custom Made Furniture

Most of our range can be produced to specific sizes, all custom made furniture is subject to quote.

Paint Finishes

Our standard finish uses a hand painted French technique, and although every effort is made to ensure consistency, exact colour matching can not be guaranteed as texture and colour may vary slightly from piece to piece. This does add to the character and uniqueness of each piece. Returnable paint samples are available on request.

Carving

Details on our furniture are hand carved by specialist craftsmen.

Surfaces

Our furniture is protected with products that make surfaces capable of withstanding damp and wear.

Delivery

Cost of delivery and assembly, if required, where appropriate will be re-charged at cost and is subject to quote.

Deliveries are available throughout the UK, Ireland and the rest of the World, subject to quote. Please allow space and time for deliveries which need assembly, and ensure that there is suitable access for larger pieces, as Chic Shack will not accept liability for failed deliveries, due to restricted access. If access is restricted, please enquire whether or not the item can be built as disassembled. Delivery price does not include removal of old furniture out of the property and to other rooms, and access must be cleared before delivery (surcharge applicable).

Payment

A deposit of 50% is required, and balance of payment is due on delivery. Orders will only be processed once the deposit is received. Once an item is in production, deposits are non-refundable. Your statutory rights are not affected.
